About me
Meaningful change starts when someone decides that something matters enough to act.
I've seen this happen in boardrooms and foundations, in social ventures and intrapreneurship programs, and in people standing at a crossroads in their own lives.
My work is helping turn that intention into a path forward.
How I Help
I help capital move with intention.
I help organizations scale their impact sustainably.
I help individuals align their work with what truly matters.
Whether I'm working with a foundation exploring catalytic capital, a social innovator looking to scale, or an individual navigating a transition, I help translate intention into a clear path, workable structures, and meaningful action
I work alongside you, as a thinking partner, and when needed, hands-on in making things happen.
I start by understanding where you are, your ambition, your context, your challenges, and what you are truly trying to achieve. From there we explore what is needed, and shape the right path forward, together.
Because moving from intention to action is never just about the structure — the people and behavioral side is equally important, and often where initiatives truly succeed or stall.
My own WhaTnxt - The question that changed my path
I spent most of my career in global finance, structuring complex financing solutions and partnerships across markets and sectors. For a long time, I genuinely enjoyed this work.
But over time, a question kept returning:
Is this where I can make the difference I truly care about?
The answer didn't come all at once. It emerged gradually, through moments like realizing that financing an MRI machine in Europe is rarely a challenge, but financing that same equipment in Africa can determine whether it exists at all. That was financing changing lives.
It became increasingly clear that this was where my expertise and desire to contribute could truly meet, where applying my financing skills could mean something beyond the transaction. That realization led me into impact finance.
What I built — and what I learned
At Philips, I built and led the impact finance practice — including designing and launching a $100m blended impact investment fund, mobilizing public, private, and philanthropic capital to address the missing middle in African healthcare financing.
I also co-led the transition of the Philips Foundation from grant-making toward catalytic capital and impact investing — enabling social innovators to scale solutions and expand access to care for millions of people across Africa and Southeast Asia.
Working with the Group Sustainability team, I co-designed and led Philips’ first intrapreneurship program , creating a space where employees could turn purpose-driven ideas into action.
Strategy and structures matter.
But people determine whether change actually happens.
When people connect what matters deeply to them with the work they do,
and are given the right environment and support, extraordinary things become possible
Why WhaTnxT exists
Over the years, I noticed that the same principles apply in our own lives.
Many people reach a point where something starts to shift. They sense there may be another way to contribute, another chapter to explore, another question asking for attention.
Often, they don't need someone to tell them what to do.
They need space to reflect, structure to explore, and trusted companions to walk alongside them.
Having navigated my own transitions… exciting, uncertain, and deeply meaningful… I know the value of having that support.
That’s why I created WhaTnxT: a peer-learning journey for people exploring how to use all they’ve learned and who they’ve become in ways that truly matter.
Beyond the work
I am a rider and a reader. I love good conversations, shared meals, and bringing people together. I engage with genuine curiosity, whether that person is a foundation director, a social entrepreneur in Nairobi, or someone sitting with a quiet sense that something needs to change.
Fairness and dignity matter deeply to me.
And when I'm not working, you'll most likely find me outdoors — in nature, on horseback, or simply enjoying the world at a slower pace.
If something here resonates — I'd welcome a conversation.
